A passion for papertrey challenge

Its summer. Its august. Its my family's birthday month. Everyone in my family is born in august. We Are Lions and virgos.
Its been a while since I postede anything on my blog....Again. but I hope to get into The rytmn as the evenings turn darker Again
I saw a challenge on a passion for papertrey which said to post a card associated to summer. And since august means birthday for me I here show a card which is for my dad :-)
The colors are summerish as well I think... dø you agree??
The stamp is from Hero Arts and The sentiment is made with papertrey sets.

What a great week-end!
Saturday = complete relaxation. Watching TV, reading in a book, eating good food.
Sunday = a great work-out in the gym plus a day with a clear blue sky. Great for walking the dog in the field - it was quite cold though ....

I am sharing a Birthday card I made with a PTI embossing plate, PTI stamps and lots of glitter.
Its very glitterish! You can't really see the embossed background on the photo - but its there!

My week-end was great! I am sharing a card that I made a while ago - I was inspired by the colors, and used a ton of stamps from Papertrey Ink.

Usually I like to make more clean and simple cards, but have been experimenting with a different style.
What do you think about this card? Too messy?

Papertrey Ink: Harvest Berries and Butterfly Dreams

I have time for a quick sharing while my sweet boyfriend is finishing a delicious Valentine dinner :)

Here is a Birthday Card I made for his mom - using PTI stamps: Harvest Berries and Butterfly Dreams.
I stamped Harvest Berries on PTI white Cardstock, stamped my die cut butterflies with black Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. Colored the butterflies with Faber Castell wood-pencils using a bit of water.

Stamped on PTI Soft Stone Cardstock with Versamark Watermark, embossed with white powder and used distress ink for coloring. Super easy 1-2-3.

Hero Arts: Large Flower Background

Today I am sharing a card using Hero Arts: Large Flower Background.
I love that stamp!

I stamped the background on PTI Soft Stone Cardstock with Versamark Watermark. Embossed with white powder. Colored the large flowers with Distress inks until I got the result which made me happy.
I miss summer - these beautiful flowers made me forget the snow and cold winds.
