Gift tag

Hi! How are you today? I had a terrific day!! Hope your day was also "smashing" .. a word one of my suppliers said to me today. Smashing - its a great word for a great day :)

Here is a little gift tag I made this week-end.
I am experimenting with some different tag solutions for christmas, I like glitter and glammer for christmas, but if I should mass produce something it should also be possible to make rather quickly.
I think this tag will not be a mass producing item - it takes a long time to make the embossed embellishment and it creates a mess :)

Why is it that my embossing powder is always laying as dust everywhere when I am done? When I watch a video it always seem so organized when people emboss - keeping powder in small containers - and it seems no powder is on the table?????

The embossed embellishment is just a lot lot lot lot of embossing powder layers, and it looks sort of metallic. Once you get all the layers really juicy you stamp it.Remember to use versamark before stamping into the liquid embossing powder.

Well does it make sense?? If not I can try to find you a link for a video ... I know there is one out there somewhere, because I watched it last christmas.

Enough talking. I should also make dinner. And most likely you just want to see the tag.

Do you see the crackled background? I wanted to make a icy look, not sure if it looks icy. looks more like a dry desert to me. What do you think?

I couldn't stop playing with the Large Flower Background, so for the third post in a row I share a creation using that stamp.

Birthday tag

Hej med jer!
tak for alle de søde kommentarer igår. Dejligt at være tilbage.

Jeg havde en lille rest fra mit kort igår - og brugte resten til at lave et lille "tag" til at pynte en lille extra gave til min mor. Gaven er en glas pendant m. sølv glimmer - den blev faktisk meget sød. Fik ikke taget et foto, men vil nok lave nogle flere. Så kan det være jeg får det lagt herind.

Well August is a birthday month for me - and here I am posting 3 times in one month. YEAH!

There are some amazing cards if you google this stamp.... So many cards oh so pretty :)

Well here is mine, I embossed with white on craft and colored the leafs with Distress Inks mixed with water - will love to know what you think about it :)

A passion for Papertrey again

Yeah, I am back from 14 days at Samos (Greece)!!
Came back yesterday. It was a great snorkling holiday - but apart from good beach adventures the island didn't offer much if you ask me. Anyway, you didn't... so I wont go on and on about Samos :)

Here is another birthday card I made really quickly last night, I am not quite satisfied with the sentiment placement, but time ran out and I had to wrap it up.
I like the overlapping Harvest Berries because they are in shadow colors from eachother - I will try it again soon. Also the double coating of Glossy Accent on the dark Harvest Berry stamp looks really good in real life - you should give it a try.

The card fits into A Passion For Papertrey's current challenge "Take Your Pick" - so in order to get my mojo going I hereby submit my card there :) I will love to hear what you think, and how the sentiment could be improved.

Its summer. Its august. Its my family's birthday month. Everyone in my family is born in august. We Are Lions and virgos.
Its been a while since I postede anything on my blog....Again. but I hope to get into The rytmn as the evenings turn darker Again
I saw a challenge on a passion for papertrey which said to post a card associated to summer. And since august means birthday for me I here show a card which is for my dad :-)
