Happy Hexagons Papertrey Ink

HAPPY Hexagons Birthday.
I love my new stamp set Happy Hexagons from PTI!! They make me happy and relaxed.

The sentiment is stamped on vellum, and heat embossed. I put a strip of carton behind the vellum because the hexagons behind the vellum and sentiment made me dissy.

Of course I had to glue the glitter butterflies on the card. Now I regret them, and I can't remove them.
Lovely. No wait ... its not lovely.

Anyway, I like to stamp these happy hexagons on paper, so I will most likely make a new card without butterflies :)

CAS snowflake card

Hejsa,

her er et lille kort jeg har lavet til Panduro Hobby's udfordring: CAS
Kortet er stemplet på hvidt karton og jeg har brugt Heroarts Snowflakes + sentiment fra PTI, jeg kunne ikke lige finde det stempel sæt det kom fra .. jeg tilføjer det senere hvis jeg finder det.

Snefnug er stemplet med Versacolor Skyblue og har fået et prik med Stickles Silver.
Happy Holiday er stemplet m. sort og embossed for at få lidt glat overflade.


Det var alt på denne regnvejrsdag!

Well HELLO there!
Today I have been singing: Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow
approximately 1000000 times. So I made a little card with snowflakes and a "sentiment" saying: Let it snow.

The kraft mat piece is not straigth.
I hate when the paper is not straight ... it blocks my eye, and it is the only thing I can focus on... I know its not a lot, but still enough to annoy my eye.
Do you have a cure for this??? or maybe just a suggestion on how to avoid it.

The card uses 100% PTI supplies - paper, sentiments and dies.
Well .. the glitter is not PTI. So lets say its 99% PTI.

Quick and simple christmas card

Here is a quick and simple christmas card I made just now.
Its dark, so the photo quality is a bit weird. Its is white, black and gold.

What do you think? I am in doubt about the bow .. ??

I don't know where I got the angle stamp from. The sentiment is from PTI,

Jeg er lidt i tvivl om sløjfen skal være der eller ej...

Stemplet m. englen kan jeg ikke huske hvor jeg har fundet henne - Noel er fra PTI.

Det er mørkt udenfor og jeg har taget foto med telefonen, derfor er lyset lidt underligt.

Hi! How are you today? I had a terrific day!! Hope your day was also "smashing" .. a word one of my suppliers said to me today. Smashing - its a great word for a great day :)

Here is a little gift tag I made this week-end.
I am experimenting with some different tag solutions for christmas, I like glitter and glammer for christmas, but if I should mass produce something it should also be possible to make rather quickly.
I think this tag will not be a mass producing item - it takes a long time to make the embossed embellishment and it creates a mess :)

Why is it that my embossing powder is always laying as dust everywhere when I am done? When I watch a video it always seem so organized when people emboss - keeping powder in small containers - and it seems no powder is on the table?????

The embossed embellishment is just a lot lot lot lot of embossing powder layers, and it looks sort of metallic. Once you get all the layers really juicy you stamp it.Remember to use versamark before stamping into the liquid embossing powder.

Well does it make sense?? If not I can try to find you a link for a video ... I know there is one out there somewhere, because I watched it last christmas.

Enough talking. I should also make dinner. And most likely you just want to see the tag.

Do you see the crackled background? I wanted to make a icy look, not sure if it looks icy. looks more like a dry desert to me. What do you think?

Hero Arts August Challenge

Hi - how are you?

I am entering Hero Arts monthly challenge for the first time.

I couldn't stop playing with the Large Flower Background, so for the third post in a row I share a creation using that stamp.
