Here is a card I made for a gift Nikolai should give to a customer.
He wanted it without sentiment. I think the card miss a sentiment, but he liked it so - and I really didn't have time to make a new card.

The card fits the current challenge over at A Passion For Papertrey - Challenge: Inspired by Nature!
Everything on the card is from Papertrey - the background is stamped with woodgrain and heat embossed with white powder.The flower is PTI Fancy Folk Art.

Nyder du en forlænget week-end eller har du ligesom mig været på arbejde idag?
Jeg legede med Papertrey's Quilled Elegance igår, og er ret vild med disse stempler, men mit hoved var blokeret igår, jeg syntes ikke rigtigt det blev til noget det jeg lavede, kender du det?

Her er et lille kort som blev til noget, og så blev det hvide karton alligevel sat på skævt.

Jeg hader når det sker. Man ser det ikke rigtigt på fotoet, men det er skævt.

Det blå og grå har Diamond Glaze på - det fungerer fint i virkeligheden, men telefonen kan ikke rigtig fange det.

Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

I am backagain today.

Lately I have been working a lot - and haven't really found the time and energy to do any papercrafting at all. I have been reading a lot of books though :)Just wrapping up Justin Cronin's book "The Passage The Twelve" - I like it, but it did not sweep me away like "The Passage" - but it is good, and I keep turning the pages even if it is too late at night. Did you read it? Does it make you ill thinking that book 3 is not out till 2013?

Anyway - this super colorful ribbon caught my eye the other day, and I needed to create a tag for a gift we are giving on Sunday, so I made a little tag and tilted the sentiment, this way I could play along Papertrey's April Blog Hop.

haven't had time to update my blog - and worse, haven't had time to create much either.

This card was made today while the snow was falling.
I love that little quote.

Here is a little photo card I made to my parents as a new year greeting - the sentiment fits perfect to this little photo. Its a rare thing to see my dog sleeping - and she just look so peaceful on this photo - so I couldn't resist making her a special photo frame.

PTI December Blog Hop

Merry Christmas!! 
Hope you all had a wonderful evening with family and/or friends.

December went so quickly ... I can barely understand that christmas is already over.
I didn't even get to blog in December.

Today I cleaned/washed all of my christmas stamps and will pack them away for a while.
I can't wait to get spring-like stamps in ACTION!

The last christmas card I made this year was designed within the lines of the theme of Papertrey Ink's December Blog Hop Challenge - and here is my contribution:

Ho Ho Hoooo christmas card

Christmas time is getting closer every day now!
To get the christmas spirit flowing in our little family, we have arranged a little Paris trip !
So 2 weeks from now I will be dazzling around in the streets of Paris - YEAHHHH I can't wait!!!

Meanwhile - to help christmas along I made a card yesterday and that is what I am sharing today. I made it at a scrap-afternoon with another Danish card-fan - and it was a really nice afternoon :)

My inspiration for this card came in the latest Papercrafts magazine - there were some tags made in a similar way, but I wanted to make a card as if it came from Santa Claus. The idea is to write the name of the receiver on right side, the stamp is suppose to look frosted ... ;)
All stamps are from Papertrey Ink - Postmarks and  Santa Stationary.

Happy Hexagons - Christmas card

Here is a glittery christmas card made with PTI's Happy Hexagons die.
Let me tell you - it takes a long time to make all those small hexagons glittery - but it is worth the work! Do it do it!

I really wanted a white christmas tree on this card - but I lost my Tree Trimming Trio die .. so I had to do something else, and for some reason cutting the tree with a scissor wasn't an option in my mind.

Anyway - try the glittery hexagons, I am sure you will love them!

Scrapsisters International kortdag - udfordring 1

Halli Hallo,
Så fik jeg alligevel tid til at lege med på Scrapsisters udfordringer til den Internationale kortdag.
Dette kort er til Udfordring 1 - læs reglerne her, jeg bruger stempler fra PTI's Trimming Tree Trio og knapper.

Træet er stemplet med Encore Ultimate metallic gold og har et lag guld embossing.

Ja så er der vist ikke mere hokus pokus ved det kort.

Happy Hexagons Papertrey Ink

HAPPY Hexagons Birthday.
I love my new stamp set Happy Hexagons from PTI!! They make me happy and relaxed.

The sentiment is stamped on vellum, and heat embossed. I put a strip of carton behind the vellum because the hexagons behind the vellum and sentiment made me dissy.

Of course I had to glue the glitter butterflies on the card. Now I regret them, and I can't remove them.
Lovely. No wait ... its not lovely.

Anyway, I like to stamp these happy hexagons on paper, so I will most likely make a new card without butterflies :)

Gift tag

Hi! How are you today? I had a terrific day!! Hope your day was also "smashing" .. a word one of my suppliers said to me today. Smashing - its a great word for a great day :)

Here is a little gift tag I made this week-end.
I am experimenting with some different tag solutions for christmas, I like glitter and glammer for christmas, but if I should mass produce something it should also be possible to make rather quickly.
I think this tag will not be a mass producing item - it takes a long time to make the embossed embellishment and it creates a mess :)

Why is it that my embossing powder is always laying as dust everywhere when I am done? When I watch a video it always seem so organized when people emboss - keeping powder in small containers - and it seems no powder is on the table?????

The embossed embellishment is just a lot lot lot lot of embossing powder layers, and it looks sort of metallic. Once you get all the layers really juicy you stamp it.Remember to use versamark before stamping into the liquid embossing powder.

Well does it make sense?? If not I can try to find you a link for a video ... I know there is one out there somewhere, because I watched it last christmas.

Enough talking. I should also make dinner. And most likely you just want to see the tag.

Do you see the crackled background? I wanted to make a icy look, not sure if it looks icy. looks more like a dry desert to me. What do you think?
